My friends and I are "Pumpkin Lovers". But this Pumpkin is Kusama Yayoi's pumpkin, a Japanese artist who is now 88 years old and has been suffering from intense audio-visual hallucinations which cause her to see in "Dots". We have been collecting her pumpkins from around the world where we had chances to be. 私と私の友達はカボチャのファンである。しかし、そのカボチャは普通のカボチャではない、日本の芸術家、草間彌生の作品の一つである。彼女は1929年に生まれ、幼いころから幻覚と幻聴に悩まされていた。その悩みを克服するべく、絵を描き始めた。私たちは、世界中で開催される草間彌生の展覧会を訪ねるチャンスが毎回あり、彼女のカボチャたちを持って帰るという習慣がある。
ในกลุ่มเพื่อน เรามีกลุ่ม "คนรักฟักทอง" อยู่ แต่ฟักทองในที่นี้ คือฟักทองของ Kusama Yayoi ศิลปินและนักเขียนชาวญี่ปุ่น ในปีนี้เธอมีอายุ 88 ปีแล้ว คุณ Kusama เป็นบุคคลที่มีอาการป่วยทางประสาทแบบหนึ่ง ที่ทำให้เธอมองเห็นทุกอย่างเป็นลายจุด พวกเรากลุ่มตามล่าฟักทอง ก็จะติดตามไปเก็บภาพตามที่ประเทศต่างๆที่เรามีโอกาสได้ไป
